Hi, my name is Simon, and I am the illustrator behind Postcard Facade.

I love drawing houses and gardens, and I love making nice things for nice people. This is why I run Postcard Facade: an art commission service that lets me paint houses with character.

Postcard Facade’s art commission service is about crafting high quality original artworks, each as unique as the home it depicts. The artwork is made by me, here in Melbourne, using traditional methods and premium fine art materials (ink, watercolour and quality paper).

There is no computer tracing or digital printing involved, just a completely original, hand made, one of a kind piece of art inspired by your home.

When I’m not working on house portraits for Postcard Facade, you’ll find me making picture books, illustrating for editorial and publishing projects, creating murals, and all manner of creative pursuits.

I believe every business should give back a little, and I recognise many people do not have the good fortune of a safe place to call home.

Therefore, I donate a portion of Postcard Facade’s revenue to various charities that support folks in my local area, such as St Mary’s House of Welcome.
